Our church thrives on the dedication and passion of volunteers like you. Whether you're interested in greeting guests with a warm smile, lending a hand in our kids ministry, or contributing your skills behind the scenes, there's a place for you.
Every team matters in the mission. There is no one position or person that is more or less important. All are equally necessary to the Church accomplishing its God given purpose.
RLA strives for excellence and safety in ministry. You will find that each team will have requisites and training unique to that ministry. However, anyone that serves in any capacity at RLA will complete the following 2 basic steps:
1. Complete the Ministry Team Application located at the bottom of this page, indicating your team of interest.
2. Complete the First Step Class

The Team

The Band
The RLA Band serves whenever there is a need for music in worship at the church. Main parts of the band include acoustic guitar, bass guitar, drums, electric guitar and piano. If you are skilled in any of these instruments and are ready to serve a lot, this is probably the team for you.
Worship Vocals/Jr. Worship Vocals
The RLA Vocals serve whenever there is a need for music in worship at the church. Ability to hear and sing a part is very helpful. If you are skilled vocally and are ready to serve a lot, this is probably the team for you.
Tech/Church Online
If you are attentive, have a desire to learn tech, and want to be used a lot, this is the team for you! The RLA Tech tTeam includes sound, computer, lighting, and camera operators. This team is critical to the operation of services and events throughout the year.
Children/Youth
If you enjoy spending time with children and youth, and have a desire to see them serve Jesus for a lifetime this team may be the perfect fit for you. There are options to serve infants through college age.
Hospitality & Registrations/ Jr. Hospitality
If sharing a smile and serving people are things you love, this is the team for you! The Hospitality team includes: greeters, sanctuary attendants, , coffee shop attendants, hosts, and more. The RLA Jr. Hospitality team is a great place for kids that are outgoing or have a heart to make others feel welcomed and loved. If you love making people feel special this team would be great for you.
Missions
To accomplish the mission of reaching the lost takes the whole church. This team gathers to pray, plan, build up and facilitate missions endeavors here locally and abroad. If you are passionate about reaching the lost or have the gift of organization this team is for you.
Prayer Team
Jesus said that His house would be called a house of prayer for all people. If you desire to be used specifically in the place of prayer, you’ve found your team.
Bus Driver/Van Driver
Each week RLA provides transportation for college, youth, and children that want to come to church but have no means of transportation. If you enjoy driving and love people this would be a great fit for you. (A CDL is necessary for bus drivers, but we can help you get it if you are interested.)
Connect Group Leaders
RLA has opportunities for those who love to care for others and facilitate connections among a group. The groups focus on discipleship through supportive relationships among the members of the group.
Dance/Jr. Dance (Ages 6-13)
Dance is a biblical form of praise to the Lord that is practiced by RLA! IF you are a team player, have rhythm, and are creative, then the unified dance team is for you!
Games
At RLA we believe that having fun together is essential to building healthy, balanced relationships. This team facilitates that through planning and executing group games for all ages. If you are fun loving and lead groups of people, well this team may be a perfect fit for you.
